Day 9 on the cruise

We are cruising past the great barrier reef, our last port was Darwin but we have been at sea for 3 days since then. All is very well, we see less and less of the kids as they spend more time with their friends, in fact we can see them for less than 5 minutes between 9 in the morning and 10 at night.

Steph and I are 2 of the 4 representatives of the UK at the Pool Olympics, which we are into the 4th day of competition. Steph and I won the synchronised swimming yesterday with an astonishing display of finesse. Oh yes we are getting involved!!
Meeting lots of Aussies, we are becoming quite well known around the boat as the nutty immigrating pomms!

Little else to say, everything great!

  1. In 2012 we English expect nothing less than victory - 1st Wiggo, then team GB and on Saturday the English Ruby Team beating the All Blacks.
    So only Gold will do.

  2. The cruising life sounds very fine indeed. Congratulations on your synchronized swimming victory! It must have been a proud moment, the icing on the cake of a memorable year of British sporting achievement; just a shame it came too late for you both to be included in the sports personality of the year nominations! The average 1lb per day weight gain whilst on board gives me some cause for concern when we're contemplating a cruise back from OZ that could last two months - that would mean a gain of 4 stone +, not to mention the need to purchase an entire new wardrobe of clothes every fortnight...must build that into the budget!

How are your livers coping with life aboard?!

  3. Now that is something I would have liked to have seen!!!!! Great the kids are enjoying kids club so much and gives you guys some time for some serious training!!! Winning is the only option guys do us proud. Are any of these friends on board potential friends in Melbourne?

Life here the same but we have our Chimbo tree up using most of your decks! Charlie brooks from eastenders won I am a celeb and now we are just getting ready for all things tacky as Christmas looms forever closer. Do you have decks on the boat?

Hope to Skype soon, got the wedding at Wimbledon this weekend, poor grandmas and gramps have the kids!! Hugo still not sleeping at night and Dex being a bit of a pickle so not sure how much sleep they are going to get.
