Every time we venture slightly further
south we get a great sence of achievement! It is odd that our lives
have become so focused on the goal of reaching Singapore in 21 days,
as It is by no means a difficult task. At any stage we could jump to
the mainland and spend two nights on a train and be there, but I
think we now get a buzz of being nomads on a purpose, it is like a
college roadtrip film, somehow the more stops we have and the longer
we draw it out, the more successful we are being. We love the
beaches, and the huts and stuff, but we are starting to get more of a
kick out of meeting the people, and to quote Felix, 'I just c'ant
wait to see what weird vehicle we get to ride in next!'
We are now on Koh Kradan, but we have
not met our Hawaiian host Wally yet, we hope to soon. He sailed in
the navy in the pacific for 30 years prior to starting up this little
beach hut retreat, so he must have a few stories to tell.
We already know what our excuse will be
for leaving here in two days time, lack of Mozzy Spray!
